The Flyer-Truck towbarless aircraft towing tug C 200 provide completely new travelling comfort and fulfil the highest demands on a modern, mobile workplace. Alongside an innovative design, the model C200 also offers technology in accordance with the latest standards.
The first thing you notice is the modern vehicle cabin with a stylish design: a large door and a large panoramic window for an unlimited all-round view are only the most important features. By the time you’ve adopted the one-man cabin with its spring-mounted seat as your place of work, you’ll get a real feel for the Flyer-Truck. All operating controls, such as the steering column, armrest with joystick, seating position, backrest and headrest, can be adjusted individually. The switch functions and operating controls as well as the monitoring of the engine and hydraulics parameters are self-explanatory, highly visible and can be reached comfortably.
Technically the C200 is also an eyecatcher. If you open the emergency door on the right-hand site, you’ll find a clearly arranged safety panel and all service components are easy to access.
The Flyer-Truck C200 is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine. The water-cooled engine is controlled by CAN BUS and fulfils the new EU Stage III B and EPA Tier 4i emission standards. The Flyer-Truck is controlled and driven using a joystick on the right-hand armrest. Unloaded, the truck can reach a top speed of up to 25 km/h. The aircraft towing tug can be effortlessly manoeuvred into any desired position thanks to power-assisted steering.
The nose gear bracket is easy to use. The bracket hydraulics is controlled using an electromagnet and a rocker switch, which are integrated into the armrests. An electronic and a mechanical safety device for any faulty operation ensure the highest possible level of safety. A hydraulic door system, 20cm moveable wheel ramp and a wheel hold system ensure the secure positioning of the nose gear when towing.
