The new Flyer-Truck FLT 120 electro is an aircraft tug for medium business jets up to 13.0 tons MTOW. An all-rounder for single and double nose wheels.

The design

The Flyer-Truck FLT 120 electro rounds out the aesthetic appearance at your location and leaves no room for the professionalism of your action. The high-quality silver-metallic paint with flanking curved applications give the tug a sporty appearance. Stepped stainless steel belt inlet plates avoid mechanical working tracks and give a long-lived optically high-quality appearance. The high-gloss two-color aluminum wheels in silver with black heel underline the rounded coloring.
The technology
The landing gear bracket, the core, is designed multi flexible and has numerous features, which on first view do not fall into the appearance of the viewer. An integrated powerful electric winch with 4500 kg pulling force and a 60 mm wide heavy-duty pulling belt pulls the aircraft nose wheel effortlessly into the desired position. The solid tipping pan is designed for a max. Load capacity of 1800 kg. The zinc-plated ramp ensures long-lived value added with anti-skidding for directional stability of the nose wheel in wet weather conditions. An adjustable wheel height holder with quick fastener and wheel side holder secure the position of the nose wheel against twisting. The ramp bottom castor, which ensure a gentle handling of your hangar, as well as the starter roller for a simple retraction to the nose wheel, are the highlights of the ramp.
The drive system
The FLT 120 electro also pulls jets beyond the 10 tons MTOW powerfully. With a tractive force of 1200 N and a speed of 4 km / h, the FLT 120 electro tows the aircraft in the wished position effortless. This is possible through a 1.8 kW electric motor with differential gearing and multi-disc brake. The power pack is supplied by a battery pack of 135 Ah and 24 volts, an intelligent controlled inverter processor allows an operating time of up to 4 hours
