Flyer-Truck aircraft tugs are in operation in private aviation, in maintenance, at FBOs and airports.
The right towing equipment for all requirements.
Whether for airplanes or helicopters, whether with electric drive or fuel engine, single or double nose wheels, the large selection of our tugs faces every challenge.
From the own distress to a global player The first aircraft tug was designed and built in 1993 by Mr. Konrad Zaglauer. The owner of the locksmith and mechanical engineering company of the same name had the claim that he wanted to tow his Piper Arrow 4 no longer by hand, but rather by a motorized hand-pulling device. This was the starting point for a brand called "Flyer-Truck", which 25 years later developed and manufactured aircraft tugs and built up a global distribution network.
“The Flyer-Truck FLT 52 electro is the ideal and compact solution for a safe, flexible and economical movement of our aircraft up to 5.2 t MTOW. The long-sighted design and intelligent steering enables adaptation to different modes of operation, from push-back to distance towing. The Flyer-Truck meets the highest requirements on efficiency and reliability with proven high level quality."
"Due to its extremely low volume and powerful thrust, the innovative electric drive of the FLT 120 is perfectly tailored to our needs" [Florian Kohlmann, Managing Director, Augsburg Air Service GmbH]
